Windows
We’ve been installing windows since 1967, and our expertise in fitting quality glazing is what brings our customers back to us, time and again. All of our windows come with a minimum 10-year, insurance-backed guarantee, but with more than 50 years’ behind us you can be confident in choosing West Norfolk Glass for your replacement double, triple or secondary glazing.
UPVC windows
Strong, affordable and virtually maintenance-free, UPVC is the UK’s most popular choice for replacement windows and, with a wealth of styles and colours available, can be customised to suit your property.
Get creative with a variety of opening styles and frames, add Georgian bars, a heritage colour and hardware and give your new windows the character needed to suit your home. For an elegant look, think vertical sliding sashes or Flush windows, which evoke the look of traditional timber with the practicalities of UPVC – a woodgrain finish and you’d be pushed to know the difference!
Tilt & turn and fully reversible windows are the perfect fit for a tricky space and make cleaning easy, while a custom-fit bay window is simply stunning! Our team has the expertise to create the perfect glazing solution for your home and, whichever style you choose, UPVC double and triple glazing will enhance your property’s energy efficiency and security.
It might also surprise you to learn that a UPVC window frame lasts around 35 years and can be recycled up to ten times, giving it a potential lifespan of 350 years, before the plastic is used in other products. With great strides by the fenestration industry towards recycling and reusing materials, UPVC is a sustainable choice for your home.
Aluminium windows
Maximise the aesthetic of your home and make the most of its outlook with stylish aluminium windows. With slim frames that allow light to flood in, aluminium frames work equally well in contemporary and period properties where steel windows might have once been.
Lightweight, strong and a sustainable material which can be repeatedly recycled, aluminium windows are available with double or triple glazing for optimum thermal efficiency and come in a range of colours and finishes – let our team help you to select the perfect design for your home.
Secondary glazing
While period properties have plenty of charm and character, their traditional window fittings can often be draughty and provide little protection from external noise and the elements. For listed buildings and historic homes, secondary glazing provides an effective solution with the installation of a slimline glazed unit inside the existing windows.
This creates an insulated pocket of air between the two which can reduce condensation and external noise by up to 54dB while improving the property’s thermal efficiency by up to 65 percent and security.
Available in a choice of more than 200 colours and a range of styles including vertical sashes, arched and bespoke units, our secondary glazing comes with a 5-year warranty on frames and glazing, and a 2-year warranty on moving parts.
